 In
July, 2006, Neptune formed Aqua
Biologics, Inc. (ABI), a wholly
owned subsidiary, to focus the Company’s
efforts toward developing activities in
the Bio-technology, Food Science, and
Alternative Energy sectors. Included in
these activities has been the launching
of the patent-pending Aqua-Sphere™ and Aqua-Cell™ technologies, along with its future generation
systems, and marketing the product on
a worldwide basis. In addition, ABI will
work with other companies to develop and
modify their products for integration
into the Seafood industry. |

products, as well as future developments,
will also be aimed at helping
the environment and providing
sustainable solutions for seafood
and nutritional products around
the world. Current food science
research at ABI is focused on
feed bio-technology. ABI has a
patent-pending on its Ento-protein™ process of producing and harvesting
high-grade protein meal from insects
for the replacement of fish meal
in fish, livestock, and in the
future, human diets.

Heron operates a spectacular 48 acre fish
farm in Florida City, FL that incorporates
a state-of-the-art, eco-friendly production
environment which is unprecedented in the
U.S. today. This eco-friendly system addresses
the issues currently hindering many other
farms, and has played a major role in the
decision of many executive chefs to serve Everglades Striped Bass™ as a sustainable seafood product. The farm's Everglades Striped Bass™ has become the industry benchmark, upon
which all other hybrid striped bass are
measured, and is distributed throughout
the eastern U.S., Canada and the Caribbean.
The demand for the Company's product, and
seafood in general, continues to skyrocket.
The U.S. seafood market now eclipses $65
billion, of which 78% is imported. This
places seafood as the largest natural resource
contributing to our National Deficit, other
